Here are some ideas that can help you clean up your closet without taking such a big dent out of your wallet. These are particularly helpful for that college student stuck in a small, cramped dorm room for a year that can't afford or fit a closet clothes organizer yet
For under the bed shoe storage that allows you to find a complete pair of shoes every time, why not use the box that the shoes came in? That's right...take some shoe boxes and cut off one end of each of them. Then put the lids on and duck tape as many together as will fit under your bed. Whoolla! A cheap, but effective shoe organizer.
Don't want to buy those multi-hanger hooks for you closet or want to try them out for cheap first? Buy a set of inexpensive shower curtain rings. Link about 5 or 6 together. Hook the top one to your closet rod. Hang a hanger on each ring.
This idea is more of a hygiene improver, but does still make your clothes more pleasant to deal with. Use those free soaps from hotels and put them in the back of your drawers to keep your clothes smelling fresh between wearings.
Hope these ideas helped you out some and maybe even triggered some more ideas. These are all temporary solutions as the cost is so low. If you would ever like to upgrade, check out more info how to select a closet clothes organizer.
